Limited Run Games and Just For Games, distributors of the highly anticipated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge in the US and France, have just lifted the veil on a physical collector’s edition coming to consoles. Something to properly welcome the return of the Ninja Turtles phenomenon to our gaming machines.
An “old school” beat’em all to enjoy with others
You know it if you read the preview that we dedicated to him recently, the beat’em all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge made our mouths water. Its homage to pixel art is far from being its only asset since the gameplay is also particularly nervous and catchy. All served by dynamic 60 frames per second (depending on the machine) and a resolution of 1080p. Thanks to the cooperative mode set up by the developers of Tribute Games and Dotemu, the software will be able to accommodate up to 4 players simultaneously for supercharged action. To the six essential ninja turtles (Leonardo, Donatello Michelangelo, Raphael) will even be added two other playable characters: master Splinter and the journalist April O’Neil.
A physical collector’s version in sight in the US
It is through a tweet that the distributor Limited Run Games has unveiled the first visual of the physical version of the game. It concerns the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One versions and acts as a collector’s item by offering:
- A reversible cover
- Stickers reproducing the sprites of the characters as they appear in the game
- An artbook

The French physical collector’s version
On the French side, it is the distributor Just For Games which announces its own collector’s version of the game. It will be available in Standard or Signature edition. If you opt for the first, you will be entitled to a booklet and a pizza key ring. The Signature Edition will contain:
- Ninja Turtle pins
- 2 keychains: pizza + Shredder
- The soundtrack of the game
- A numbered artwork
- A metal “city sewer” coaster
- A random Turtle headband
- A special scabbard

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be released later this year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switchbut also on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S thanks to compatibility within the respective ecosystems of Sony and Microsoft.
