Fortnite and Dragon Ball: a teaser that serves as an appetizer

Thing promised, thing due: yesterday evening, the Fortnite Twitter page had given an appointment today at 10:00 am on Youtube to the players of the battle royale. An appointment in connection with the collaboration with Dragon Ball Super. At 10 a.m. sharp, fans of Akira Toriyama’s game and manga were able to discover the official trailer (to be viewed at the top of this article) of the event.

This 30-second trailer, while short, gives players enough reason to get excited as it confirms the rumors that have emerged about this collaboration. These are indeed four characters, Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Beerus who will be there. At their side, the Kamehameha should make a remarkable entrance as well as the flying cloud.

Fortnite and Dragon Ball: cosmetics

This collaboration between Dragon Ball and Fortnite has finally been formalized today. It also made it possible to see the true from the false about this event: this partnership, subject of gossip for a few months, is massive. Characters

• Goku : Main protagonist of the work, Son Goku (or Kakarot) has three alternative styles. These are Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue and Ultra Instinct.
• Vegeta : Rival and best enemy of Goku, Vegeta was an essential part of this collaboration. He can appear in Fortnite through three different styles: Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan Blue (Evolved).
• Bulma : wife of Vegeta and first friend of Goku, Bulma is also part of this collaboration. She will have two styles (Dragon Ball Super and Lab Coat).
• Beerus : also announced by the leaks, the God of Destruction Beerus will also be in the game! He will only have one outfit.

The accessories

In addition to character outfits, many iconic license items come in the form of accessories. For example, the Magic Staff (Nyoibo), the Oracle Fish and the Kamesennin Shell can be worn as back blings. Pickaxes are not left out with the Magic Staff (Nyoibo) and the Kamesennin Staff. As far as gliders are concerned, the Magic Cloud (Kinto-un) and the Nacelle will be used by players on the island.

Fortnite and Dragon Ball: activities

Starting today, you can access a brand new tab on the Fortnite home screen: Unleash Your Power. It’s a kind of reward path whose levels are to be climbed through the completion of Dragon Ball quests:

Seven sets of quests will be offered to test your strength, agility, concentration and many other skills. For each completed training set, you will get a Dragon Ball and your power level will increase. This unlocks awesome rewards like the Dragon Radar back bling, emotes, sprays, and Battle Pass Tiers.

Once all seven sets of quests are completed, it’s the glider Shenron which will be offered! Beyond the quests, other activities are to be carried out thanks to this collaboration. It will be possible to watch certain episodes of Dragon Ball Super on the island, to explore places from the saga (Goku’s house, the palace of the Gods or even the room of the spirit and time) but also to seek Bulma. Finally, this collaboration also marks the arrival of the magic cloud and the in-game kaméhaméha:

During each game, deliveries set up by the Capsule Corporation fall from the sky. Retrieve the Kaméhaméha and send a devastating beam of energy towards any opponent that crosses your path, or call on the magic cloud (Kinto-un) to fly over the Island.

In short, this Fortnite Dragon Ball collaboration has everything to become one of the most memorable in battle royal.
