News hardware NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti leaks, and it’s absolutely huge
The next generation of NVIDIA graphics cards is getting closer and closer, and rumors are rife. This time around, the usually well-informed YouTuber Moore’s Law Is Dead has just unveiled what may well be the final design of the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti Founder’s Edition. And the least we can say is that this overpowered GPU – the most powerful of the RTX 40 series, to tell the truth – should impose, with colossal dimensions.
A gigantic graphics card, but with an unchanged footprint
Already last May, cliches had appeared on the Web, revealing the supposed design of the heatsink of the future NVIDIA GeForce 4090 Ti. This would consist of two fans. This first preview had then allowed us to notice that the graphics card would be bulky, but we had not yet been able to confirm how much.
Based on information that has already leaked, and its own, usually reliable sources, YouTuber Moore’s Law is Dead has realised 3D modeling of the graphics card, allowing us to know more. The NVIDIA GeForce 4090 Ti Founder’s Edition is indeed very imposing, although the interested party does not specify the exact dimensions.
On the other hand, the size of this GPU would remain limited, and similar to that of previous generations, i.e. between 3 and 3.5 PCI Express slots. Despite this, the RTX 4090 Ti Founders Edition would require a power of 600 W, which is 150 W more than its predecessor, the RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition. Even more impressive,
some rumors
go so far as to state with a power of 800 W. Anyway, we will always have to wait a little bit before getting confirmation from the founder.

A potential launch at the end of 2022
In effect, the RTX 4070, 4080 and 4090 should not be officially unveiled by NVIDIA until later this summer, with the aim of going on sale by the end of the year. According to Moore’s Law is Dead, the manufacturer plans to market a large volume of these next-generation graphics cards in the fourth quarter of 2022.
According to the latest rumors, the RTX 4090 Ti should ship 18,432 Cuda Cores, and 48 GB of GDDR6X. Powered by two 16 PIN 12VHPWR connectors, it would offer a speed of 24 Gb/s and would have a 384-bit bus with a bandwidth of 1 TB/s. Its power would be equivalent to twice that of the RTX 3090 Ti of 2022 — sorry.
Still according to the YouTube channel, NVIDIA is already planning the next move, working on RTX 40 generation cards with 4 or even 4.5 slots. With, as a result, ever larger dimensions and, one imagines, ever more impressive power.
