Like every month, the games to come in the PlayStation Plus Essential are revealed a few days before their integration into the offer. So here are the presumed games expected on PS5 and PS4.
From August 2 to September 6, 2022, like every month, Sony will add games to its PlayStation Plus Essential offer. All people subscribing to the offer will therefore be able to retrieve new titles free of charge (if we omit the price of the subscription itself). Obviously, those who have already subscribed to PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Premium will also be able to take advantage of it.
As usual, Dealabs managed to obtain the list of games in question before the hour. This leak therefore has great credibility.
On the program: skateboarding, yakuza and nightmares.
Games available on PS4 and PS5 in August 2022
According to Dealabs, the games offered in the PS+ in August should therefore be:
- Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 (PS5 + PS4)
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS5 + PS4)
- Little Nightmares (PS4)
As indicated by his name, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 is a compilation of the first two Tony Hawk games released in the late 90s and early 2000s. Both opuses have obviously been remade in high definition to honor today’s consoles. There is also the incredible soundtrack of the time, with a few exceptions for licensing issues. However, many new music are appearing, as well as new skaters to embody.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the seventh episode of the famous role-playing saga. We play Ichiban Kasuga, who agreed to serve an 18-year prison sentence for a crime he did not commit in order to protect a member of his clan and prove himself. Little Nightmares is a 2.5D platform game plunging us into the very dark world of Six, a nine-year-old girl in yellow raincoat. It is then necessary to solve puzzles to advance while avoiding the monsters which could block the road of the innocent child unable to defend itself.
