PSG: Kurzawa finds an agreement abroad, a big blow is taking shape
No longer really at the level, Layvin Kurzawa quickly became undesirable at PSG. Nevertheless, suitors wouldn’t really scramble to sign the 29-year-old defender, especially given his huge salary for his short playing time. But in recent days, an unexpected solution has presented itself to PSG as Fulham are reportedly interested to Layvin Kurzawa. And the negotiations would be on the right track.
This summer, the PSG has set up a degreasing operation within its workforce. So far, Luis Campos has already completed nine starts. But he wouldn’t stop there. The Parisian sports adviser would work on other outings before the transfer window closes. A loft has therefore been set up to keep unwanted people out. Layvin Kurzawa is one of them. The 29-year-old is coming off a season where he played just an unfortunate nine minutes in the Champions Trophy in August 2021 and he wouldn’t really fit into the plans for Christophe Galtier. But with a salary of €5.4 million according to Sportune.fr and a contract that runs until June 2024, the suitors are not really scrambling to recruit him. But an unexpected solution would have presented itself to the PSG and to Luis Campos recently for the international tricolor.
Fulham interested in Kurzawa…
The last days, Layvin Kurzawa would have seen a way out open to him in England. As revealed by London Evening StandardFulham would be interested in the left side of the PSG. Been unwanted for some time now, Layvin Kurzawa could relaunch Premier League. Moreover, we would have gone beyond the stage of simple interest on the side of Fulham.

… and made it his priority
As revealed Fabrizio Romano on his account Twitter, Layvin Kurzawa would have become the priority of the London club in defense. Marco Silva would only think of the tricolor international to strengthen his left lane. The trainer of Fulham should therefore insist and could push for the transfer of Layvin Kurzawa in the next few days. Contacts have already been initiated, whether with the player’s entourage or the PSG. And the negotiations would move in the right direction.
Kurzawa’s agent found common ground with Fulham
According to information from the journalist Nicolo Schirathe discussions would be rather advanced between Fulham and the PSG for the transfer of Layvin Kurzawa. On his side, Frank Trimboli – the new agent of the 29-year-old defender – would have already agreed with Fulham concerning the personal terms of the future contract which will await Layvin Kurzawa in Premier League. It now remains to be seen whether the English club PSG will also manage to find common ground for the transfer of the formerAS Monaco. To be continued…
