A streamer for a couple of years, Amouranth has continued to see her popularity grow. Now considered one of the most popular videographers on Twitch, Kaitlyn Siragusa has still had to deal with multiple controversies. And during a recent interview, the streamer shared some grim moments that happened live.

Between her debut on Twitch and now, Kaitlyn Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, has been suspended 5 times. Temporary suspensions that have caused ink to flow, while the streamer continues to appear almost daily on the platform. But like any videographer, and unfortunately, like any woman, Siragusa has some grim anecdotes to share.
It was during an appearance in a stream to be found below from Rolling Stone that the streamer shared her daily life, to say the least frightening. At a time when streamers are sometimes considered real stars, videographers are sometimes confronted with inappropriate behavior. Some have even been victims of swatting, a joke in bad taste which consists of contacting the police, inventing a serious threat to trigger the arrival of a muscular intervention force in someone’s home.
But as Siragusa reveals in this recent interview, sometimes bullying takes sinister forms:
“I go stream to a Walmart on my channel, and because it’s in selfie mode on my phone, I can see guys behind me just taking pictures when I bend over to grab something from a lower shelf. “ she explains. “They don’t realize I’m streaming. It’s really scary. And they follow me all over the store.”
A spine-chilling anecdote that is not unique. Indeed, during another stream, while she was in front of a Wallmart, a man passed her before turning around after walking a few meters to take a picture of her buttocks. Aware of the incident, Amouranth then decided to confront him by donning a dinosaur head. A few insults exchanged later, the man leaves as if nothing had happened.
A constant sexualization on which Amouranth has chosen to capitalize:
MEven before we started streaming, men were sexualizing girls in public, and there was nothing we could do about it, really. So I was like, “You know what, if guys are going to do this to you no matter what you do… might as well bag“. she confided to Rolling Stone.
And with streams accumulating more than ten thousand viewers daily, Amouranth can boast of being one of the most popular videographers on Twitch. In addition to his appearances on the Amazon streaming platform, Siragusa manages a veritable media empire with particularly popular Instagram, Twitter and even Tik Tok accounts. In addition, his Only Fans is one of the most popular on the platform, allowing him to win the modest sum of more than a million dollars per month.
